I was thinking quite a while if I should write a review for this piece, since there really is nothing constructive I could say. The only thing I can say is that I really love this painting and can't stop staring at it.
The most beautiful thing about it is, that you put in your personal feelings and it truly shows. You even managed to trigger my brain to associate my very own experiences with it, which makes it somewhat painful for me to sit here looking at it. That however, isn't a bad thing but quite an unique accomplishment and a new experience for me, so... Thanks ^^

Ahh, thank you much for the review, constructive or not. I really do appreciate it. ^^

I'm glad you can connect with it on some level, especially since in person I have a hard time connecting with others. I've gotten better at it lately, but with certain feelings I just feel is better if I try explaining them with art. It's nice to know other people are able to understand the message I'm putting out there and relate to it with their own experiences. ^^ Something I feel I'd have a harder time doing through words alone and in person.

Thanks again! :D

Hello fellow earthling
First off, I really like the composition you chose for this one. The way you used the framing to make your villain come at the viewer is fantastic :)

I do think however this piece could benefit from some of your skills you've shown in your older ones. I see that you're quite good with cell shading and clean edges - That's what I'm missing here. If you chose some strategic places to put in hard edged shadows (in areas where there are stark plane changes or overlapping objects) you'd elevate the painting to the next level without much work. For instance the fingers and the eyes of the warlock would need some "cleaning up" of the soft shading to make them pop more.

Anyways, I hope this helps and wasn't discouraging (I'm always a bit afraid to put someone down and that's certainly not my intention).

I wish you the best of luck with the contest and hope to see more great stuff from you in the future.
Have an awesometacular day

Your feedback is way far from discouraging me. :) Maybe I'll make a second piece having your tips in mind. Thank you very much!

Oh my, the Spaghetti Monster jumped on the Christmas Train ;)

Well, it's just fantastic!
The concept is unique, the colour choice wouldn't be obvious to me but works perfectly, the focus/defocus gives a real sense of motion and that Train is simply stunning!

I will for sure keep up with your work and don't want to miss the next genious thing you come up with ^^

Happy to hear it, hope to see you around ;)

What's not to love about this? Math, superheros and fantastic graphics... Just imagine how much better my school days would have been with all that ^^
I really like the "monochromatic" vibe this piece as well as the geometric background. But the best thing about it must be the excellent character design - very lovable.

Hello there
I'm sorry for digging up an oldie of yours but I got hooked on your gallery and eventually landed here ^^
This must be the single most cutest thing I've ever seen. And that's saying a lot, not only are we living in the age of the never ending cat video but also do I have a fuzzy dog lazing around under my desk right now in a very uncomfortable looking position.

Best wishes to you and have an awesometacular day

Dear fellow Whovian,
have you eaten your banana yet?

I love that you picked Stephen for this challenge, he truly is a wisearse inspiration to so many people, me included. His incredibly witty sense of humour and outspoken way to adress even tabu issues is needed refreshing and entertaining as well as thought provoking.

I really like your subtle shading and the texture you gave your piece. Since I'm a bloody beginner I feel a bit silly saying anything about the art of others but a wisearse isn't ashamed to be a wiesearse, so: Keep on going and you'll go from lovely to fabulous.
